The LaurelBrooke home of Dr. and Mrs. Mark Houston is featured as the cover story in the January-February 2007 issue of Nashville Home and Garden magazine.
The article gives a room-by-room tour of one of LaurelBrooke's most elegant and finely crafted homes. The homes inspiration came from the couples trips to the Italy and eastern France. It was designed by Jack Herr of Jack Herr Design Associates, Inc. and constructed by Stan Pope of Pope Properties, Inc. The 26,000 sq. ft. home is an amazing work of art. One such work of art is the mural on the library’s domed ceiling. A replica of a section of Michelangelo’s Sistene Chapel masterpiece, the mural took local artist Keith Tucker one and a half years to paint.
