It is part of our company’s culture to get
actively involved with charity work wherever it builds a new community. At
Tucker Hill, Marketing Director Robin Kuklenski recently continued the
tradition. She represented Tucker Hill as a “Celebrity Scooper” by donating her
time to scoop at the local Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream during a benefit for
Hats off for Cancer. (This is a
non-profit group that collects and donates hats of all kinds to the amazing
children who lose their hair due to cancer treatments). “The event was great!”
Robin said. “Lots of people came through, even though it was a cold and rainy
day.” Robin didn’t just stick to scooping the ice cream, though – she confessed
to sneaking some of it for herself as well! “I ate some new flavors from Ben
and Jerry’s – chocolate chip cookie dough and cinnamon – one scoop each. Then I
liked the cinnamon so much I went back for seconds!” Robin has fun getting in
on the act – and she’s also serious about non-profit work. Presently, she is
helping form a Charity Committee for the Dallas Division of Southern Land
Company.
