Ford Custom Classic Homes, one of Southern Land Company’s premier builders, was named the 2008 “Favorite Home Builder” by the readers of Nashville House & Home & Garden magazine.
Southern Land Company hosted an open house at the Windstone Sales Center Sunday, April 13. The event was the first opportunity for visitors to tour several homes in the new community. Guests were treated to entertainment by singer/songwriter Jackie Wilson as well as a container gardening demonstration by Southern Land Company’s famous “flower ladies.”
The Windstone sales office is being relocated from its current location at the entrance to Windstone to the Showcase Townhome on Thursday, March 17th. The Showcase Townhome is located at 6114 Pleasant Water Lane. The sales office hours will remain the same. They are Monday through Saturday 10:00am-6:00pm and Sunday’s 1:00pm-6:00pm.
You won’t want to miss this first time event at Windstone, Brentwood’s premier new community by award-winning developer Southern Land Company on Sunday, April 13th from 1:00-4:00pm. Tucked away in a gorgeous valley, you will have the opportunity to tour several of the most beautiful new homes in Williamson County built by the areas most prestigious builders! Local builder Bruce Hancock has always been interested in using energy-efficient technology in the homes he builds. When he started drawing up plans for his own home, he met with a heating and cooling engineer who mentioned a word he hadn't heard before: geothermal. On February 4, Southern Exposure Magazine and Franklinis.com held a banquet for all of the 2007 Sizzle Award finalists. Southern Land Company was voted Best Builder/Developer in Williamson County for the second year in a row. With the amount of growth and development in this county, it is a huge honor to be named the best.
When planning for Westhaven was under way, Southern Land Co. spokesman Jim Cheney was tasked with coming up with unique street names for the community. He drew his inspiration from his personal interest: literature. Soon, streets with names such as Kerouac, Tennyson and Yeats will be home to Westhaven residents.
The first residents have moved into Windstone, a Brentwood neighborhood that is planned to be a "crown jewel" of upscale housing but that has been beset by delays.
John and Peggy Crunk moved into one of Windstone's townhouses just two days after Christmas.
