McEwen  is a mixed-use development concept that will be located on 93 acres in the heart of Cool Springs, Middle Tennessee’s most vibrant shopping district.  McEwen is Southern Land’s entrance into the commercial development market.

McEwen will feature a number of components that are essential for a vibrant urban village with lifestyle elements that are highly attractive to a broad range of commercial and residential tenants.  The community will be self-contained and self-sufficient, with upscale residences, stores and facilities for living, working and playing.

McEwen will include retail shops and boutiques, offices, restaurants and entertainment venues, and residential and hotel uses.

The master plan includes sizable open spaces, water elements and tree-lined streetscapes.  A variety of horticulture and hardscape designs will enliven the character of the community and establish an identity and sense of place.  The focal point of the community is a town center that will be located between three major roadways. This area will contain a central square and broad promenade for shoppers, local residents and visitors.
