Under the guidance of Cliff Smith, a professional engineer, the Civil Engineering Studio sets the stage for Southern Land communities. Working closely with Southern Land’s construction group, Civil Engineering ensures that the infrastructure necessary to support neighborhoods (single and multi-family); commercial ventures and mixed use projects is in place accurately, on time and within budget.

This studio is staffed with Civil Engineers, Engineers-in-Training and Senior CAD Technicians. Together this team oversees and implements a number of  pivotal steps in real estate development, including the due diligence phase of a project to confirm its feasibility.
