Westhaven Golf Club instructor Kim Williams ties for seventh in U.S. Senior Women’s Open

Kim Williams, LPGA Golf Instructor at Westhaven Golf Club in Franklin, Tennessee, tied for seventh at this past weekend’s U.S. Senior Women’s Open held at Brooklawn Country Club in Fairfield, Conn.

The 2021 U.S. Senior Women’s Open Championship was won by World Golf Hall of Fame member Annika Sorenstam at 12-under par (276), with Williams finishing at 2-over par (290).

“I was delighted to be reminded of the excitement of playing in a USGA event, having had the privilege of competing in over 15 U.S. Women’s Opens as both an amateur and professional,” said Williams in a release. “Most of all, it was extremely gratifying to receive the support and good wishes from the wonderful members of Westhaven Golf Club. I am looking forward to sharing my experiences at the U.S. Senior Women’s Open with my many friends and supporters at Westhaven.”
