Vertis Green Hills Celebrates First Annual Tree Lighting

Vertis Green Hills recently celebrated its first annual Tree Lighting, where they officially lit up their 40-foot Christmas Tree that is now lighting up Green Hills, Nashville. The tree, which is owned by Southern Land Company and other retailers at Vertis, stands 40 feet tall with dozens of red bows and over 20,000 white lights. Vertis plans to make this an annual event as they grow in the Green Hills neighborhood, and hopes this will be the event that marks the Holiday Season kickoff.

People from all over Nashville and the Green Hills area gathered to celebrate the tree lighting, enjoy carolers that provided beautiful holiday music, and even get their picture taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus who were there for the occasion.

The event also marked the kickoff of Vertis’ Claus for a Cause toiletry drive, where Vertis has partnered with The Salvation Army of Nashville to gather toiletries for those in need this holiday season. This drive continues through December 18th – anyone can stop by Vertis Green Hills and drop off their toiletries to help in this cause.
