Developer reduces density for master-planned community in Colorado’s fastest-growing town

A Nashville-based real estate developer’s plans to further build out a master-planned community in Colorado’s fastest growing town received a key approval to rezone the 391-acre parcel for a lower housing density.

Southern Land Company, which develops master-planned and mixed-use communities, requested the decrease in density for part of its development in Erie, an announcement from the company said. The parcel, known as North Westerly, is part of SLC’s nearly 800-acre master-planned community of Westerly.
