Jim oversees and directs strategy for SLC’s high-caliber single-family and master-planned communities in each phase of their life cycles, from ideation to delivery, identifying opportunities to elevate SLC’s standards and improve the overall homeowner experience. Drawing from more than 25 years in real estate development, Jim leads development of approximately 8,000 lots in SLC’s single-family pipeline while simultaneously ensuring significant growth in SLC Homes.
Prior to joining SLC in 2024, Jim spent time at renowned real estate development companies including Discovery Land Company, Newland Communities, Republic Property Group, and Bald Head Island Limited, LLC. His experience includes serving in critical supervisory roles for notable master-planned and large-scale communities, such as Troubadour Golf and Field Club in Tennessee, Riverlights in North Carolina, and Bald Head Island in North Carolina.
Jim is based in SLC’s community development and homebuilding headquarters in Plano, Texas.
