Juliette is a 177-unit luxury rental residence community in downtown White Plains. The YMCA was previously located at the site in a facility that required costly maintenance to remain operational. Thanks to a multiyear partnership with Southern Land Company, the YMCA relocated to 148 Hamilton Avenue in White Plains where it continues to serve the community.
Juliette’s residences will incorporate materials from the original YMCA structure that previously occupied the site as an homage to the building’s history. Residents will have several residence styles to choose from, including one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom options with homes averaging 1,200 square feet. Amenities will include an outdoor leisure hub outfitted with a courtyard area with a pool, spa, garden terrace, barbecue grill, exterior fireplace, seating area, and bicycle storage. A planned pet spa, bicycle tune shop/work studio, resident lounge, and conference room are also in the works for Juliette.
Located in downtown White Plains near employment opportunities, schools, medical centers, and recreational pursuits, Juliette is designed to welcome residents of all ages seeking a balance of urban and suburban lifestyles. The apartment home community will be served by dual Metro-North stations, the Bee-Line, major highways, and the Westchester County Airport, with commuting options to Grand Central Terminal and JFK, La Guardia, and Newark airports. Additionally, the development will create nearly 400 new jobs in the area and put the property back on the city’s tax roll.
Juliette is expected to welcome residents in 2024.
