Southern Land Company Celebrates Grand Opening of Arden Karl’s Farm in Northglenn, Colorado Master-Planned Community

 New multifamily community marks opening with local leaders and a $5,000 donation to animal welfare nonprofit MaxFund

Southern Land Company (SLC), an award-winning national real estate developer of master-planned, single-family, multifamily, and mixed-use communities, celebrated the official grand opening of its new 385-residence apartment and townhome community Arden Karl’s Farm at 1801 E. 121st Avenue on Tuesday, July 22.

Located on 12.25 acres within the Karl’s Farm master-planned community, Arden Karl’s Farm brings an amenity-rich, pet-friendly, hospitality-focused living experience to one of Colorado’s most accessible areas, while also delivering a modern farmhouse feel that acknowledges the site’s 65-year history as the home of Karl’s Farm Dairy, which operated from 1947 until 2012.

The grand opening celebration featured remarks from SLC leaders, including Sewell and Alex Woodin, Regional Manager, Development & Operations; Daniel Frank, President of KF Developers, Inc., the master developer of Karl’s Farm; and City of Northglenn Mayor Meredith Leighty. Attendees enjoyed a ceremonial toast, live entertainment, and guided tours of the community.

As part of its continued commitment to community-building and pet-friendly living, SLC also presented a $5,000 donation to MaxFund, a Colorado-based nonprofit dedicated to the care and adoption of injured, abandoned, and homeless animals. This donation will contribute to MaxFund’s largest fundraising effort of the year, which aims to ensure that thousands of animals in the community receive the healthcare and adoptive services they need to live long, healthy lives with loving families.

Currently, seven of Arden Karl’s Farm’s 19 residential buildings are complete and available for occupancy, and all of the community’s amenities are complete. Five additional residential buildings are on track to open by the end of July, and the final buildings, including a collection of modern townhomes, are expected to open this fall. The community includes a mix of 75 studios, 222 one-bedroom apartments, 62 two-bedroom apartments, and 14 three-bedroom apartments, plus 12 townhomes with private two-car garages across 19 residential buildings.

Arden Karl’s Farm offers modern amenities and sought-after community features, including:
