Southern Land Company Names Two Executive Vice Presidents to Bolster Growing Commercial Construction Organization

We are thrilled to announce the selection of Erik Krupp as Executive Vice President of Construction Operations and Kevan McKinney as Executive Vice President of Southern Land Company’s newly created Owner’s Representative Division.

Krupp and McKinney join Southern Land Company veteran and President of Commercial Construction Marty Posthauer to complete the leadership team of the company’s expanding SLC Commercial Construction organization (SLCCC).

Erik Krupp – Executive Vice President, Construction Operations

Krupp oversees all field construction operations for all current and future projects in which SLCCC acts as the general contractor. He will be based in Southern Land Company’s corporate office in Nashville.

Krupp is highly skilled in coordinating construction in urban settings. He has more than 16 years of construction project management experience with high-end and high-rise projects primarily in Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Delaware and Maryland. His project history includes the world headquarters of a Fortune 500 company, a renowned history museum, private schools, residential towers, and more. Prior to joining Southern Land Company, Krupp served as Senior Project Manager at INTECH in Philadelphia.

Krupp intends to move from Philadelphia to Nashville, where Southern Land Company is headquartered. He will be joined by his wife and daughter.

 

 

 

Kevan McKinney – Executive Vice President, Owner’s Representative Division

McKinney acts as the Owner’s Representative for all current and future projects where Southern Land Company is not the general contractor, including The Laurel in Philadelphia, a new mixed-use development at 1620 Sansom Street in Philadelphia, and Auric Symphony Park in Las Vegas, among others. He is based in Southern Land Company’s New York City office.

McKinney has more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry, with roles ranging from supervising field labor to managing and coordinating high-rise core and shell projects as well as interior renovations as an executive with some of the industry’s largest construction managers. He has provided expertise to firms including Fisher Brothers, Plaza Construction, HRH Construction, Delcon Construction, and The Hakimian Organization, among others. Prior to joining Southern Land Company, McKinney served as Owner and CEO of Secoda Management, a New York-based owner’s representation firm.

A Nashville-area native, McKinney now resides in Stamford, Conn. with his wife. They have adult twin sons.
